EduBrite was acquired by LinkedIn in June 2022. As a result, we are pausing new business development moving forward.

Trends you need to know from the 2019 Atlassian Summit

Over 17 years ago, Mike Cannon-Brookes and Scott Farquhar founded Atlassian with the mission of unleashing the potential of teams everywhere. This year’s summit brought together 4,000 Atlassian Community customers and partners who share the mission of supporting teams to do their best work.

The team from EduBrite was there to be a part of all of the exciting events. On the first day of the Summit, Partner Day, we interacted with various solution partners and marketplace vendors. It turned out to be a great opportunity to learn from and share experiences with other providers within the Atlassian Community

Once the expo hall opened, EduBrite had the opportunity to meet the enthusiastic and curious conference attendees. We showcased EduBrite LMS and our integration with Confluence and Jira service desk- including a sneak peek at some soon to be announced features. The people we spoke with were so excited to learn that they could use EduBrite’s LMS App for Jira Service desk to deflect support issues. The interest was phenomenal.

The Do’s and Don’ts of Effective E-Learning Questions

We were also excited to share the news with conference goers that EduBrite has successfully completed the Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type 1 audit. The announcement came in just as our team headed to the Atlassian Summit. The SOC Audit shows our commitment to building trust with our customers by maintaining the highest security standards.

The team also added a little fun to the event by hosting a conference giveaway for a chance to win one of three pairs of Apple urBeats 3. Congratulations to Danielle Shuffler from McCarthy, Koen Gillard and Meagan Griffin from Milwaukee Electronics!

  • Confluence Updates

The team at Atlassian listened to the community and updated the Confluence experience. The team designed an editor experience that helps you create more visual and compelling pages and work. They also added features to help teams better organize their content and tap into powerful new analytics.

  • Jira Software 8.0 Improvement

The first and one of the most important ones is the performance of new JIRA Software 8.0. Atlassian announced that the “improvements made in Jira Software 8.0, advanced searches using Jira Query Language (JQL) are 31% faster on average, agile boards load 2x faster, and re-indexing times are now 71% faster.”

  • New product – Jira Align

Atlassian recently acquired AgileCraft, and they’re adding it to the Atlassian family as Jira Align and bringing an agile-at-scale solution to customers and teams no matter where they are on their Agile path.

  • 100% Renewable energy by 2025

Atlassian has joined RE100, a network of global businesses committed to 100% renewable energy. They admit it isn’t an easy task, but they are excited about hope to inspire others with their first step in combating global climate change

The EduBrite team is back and hard at work. But, we’re still inspired by the Atlassian Community partners and customers we met. We hope you’ll join us next year, March 30th through April 2nd at Mandalay Bay. Until then, follow us on Twitter and LinkedIn or drop us a line to find out about a better way to train your teams.
